Quoted from my Brother , he was in kcvd 1.15 and now went to play Yu-gi-oh Online ( and kicking ass ) i hope it will come useful to u guys cause its useful to me Smile
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

here are some cards in Yugioh that have to be, and would benefit the
user, if they were their deck. Obviously, that list wouldn’t include
many monsters because people usually have theme decks and different type
of monsters would just disrupt their dueling style. Still, the road to
victory is usually achieved by having a balanced deck as well as a
diverse one. So here are some cards that you MUST have in a deck

(Note: there are five cards per section):
Spells:
• Poison of the Old Man/ (tied with) Lightning Vortex
• Rush Recklessly
• Fighting Spirit
• Mage Power
• United We Stand

Traps:
• Sakuretsu Armor
• Dark Bribe
• Mirror Force
• Magical Cylinder
• Draining Shield

Monsters:
• Penguin Soldier
• Gravekeeper’s Guard
• Cyber Dragon
• Man Eater Bug
• Mask of Darkness

First of all, all these cards were used at the old ages of Yu-Gi-Oh the 4 that can be used now are Mirror Force, Lighting Vortex, Cyber Dragon, Bribe.
More Specific, Vortex makes you a -1 at hand and in this time and age, hand advantage is the wan of any duelist. Wink On the Other Hand, some decks need to Sent their Hand to the Grave (Porter/Dandyllion/Malicious/Plaguespreader) so Lighting can be very useful.
In addition to this, Mirror Force is a Staple at many decks, but at Very Fast or OTK/FTK Decks is useless.
Moreover, Cyber Dragon play a lot at very decks like Chimeratech OTK, Kitties etc.. etc...
And finally, Bribe is only good at Anti-Meta Decks cause it has the disadvantage that opponent draws one more card. Dimensional Eatos is the deck that needs the most Bribe.

That's All for now, so you have to see the NEW Staples like: Heavy, MST, MbaaS, TT, Bth, D-Prison, sometimes Coth and for monsters Gorz.

Something that you have to learn is that GK Guard is now replaced by desce. Wink

I hope I helped you!! ^.^
